A Sustainable Open-Plan Home In The Swedish Countryside

This beautiful open plan home in Skåne (Southern Sweden) is owned and designed by Martin Nygren. After moving around a lot he decided to design his own house is a sustainable and elegant way.

Inside the home is completely decorated in a monochrome color palette with the use of naturial materials like wood, stone and leather. A monochrome color palette can be a bit boring but I thing the natural materials give a lot of warmth to the space.

The living space is most impressive with the double height ceiling and the use of wood in the staircase that’s almost gives a sculptural element to the home.

You can definitely see that this home is designed with a lot of care and an eye for beautiful materials, stunning!
