Colorful Touches in a Factory Conversion in Amsterdam

The great thing about converting a factory or warehouse building into a home is that it leaves you with a blank canvas and large open spaces. In Amsterdam, Erika was looking for a larger home for her and her son when she stumbled upon this former factory building.

Though neglected she saw the potential and the result is a beautiful light, open plan home. The home feels even more spacious because of the light concrete floor but because Erika decorated with color it looks joyful.

In the sitting room and bedroom you can still see a bit of history of the factory building, because the wooden panels from the former director’s office have remained which gives these rooms a warm and historic feeling.
