A Bright and Vibrant Family Home in an Old Factory in Paris

Perrine and Alex were living in a small Paris apartment with their 2 children when the opportunitie arose to create a new home in a former button factory. They wanted multiple living areas but because the light is mainly coming from one direction and there aren’t many windows they needed to get creative to end up with a light home.

Together with MPM Architecture did they create this open plan home without doors (or doors made of glass) and differences in height to create the feeling of seperate zones. To maintain that feeling of a light space they decided for a white base for their home, but in combination with colorful touches, natural materials and vintage items did they create a warm and vibrant family home.
