A Spacious Turn-of-the-Century Apartment Painted in Pink, Beige, and Green Tones
This 117 square meter apartment is located on the fourth floor of a turn-of-the-century building in Stockholm. Thanks to its high location, it has unobstructed views of the city.
The apartment was carefully renovated and features many original elements, such as mirrored doors, ceiling rosettes, cove moldings, barred windows, and floor-standing cast-iron radiators.
These characteristic early 20th-century features are paired with modern additions and comfort, using materials and styles that harmonize with the building period.

The apartment has a wonderful layout, with a large open-plan living room and kitchen on the street side and the three bedrooms on the opposite side of the central hall facing the courtyard.

The open living space features a beautiful bay window. The large windows and deep window niches let in beautiful natural light throughout the day.

The kitchen is designed in a classic style, reminding me of a French bistro kitchen. The classic gray cabinets are topped with marble, while beige backsplash tiles run up toward the ceiling.

The kitchen features plenty of work and storage space, with glass cabinets along one wall running up to the ceiling, and a hanging rail to keep the countertop clutter-free.

The living room walls are painted in a warm cream-white/beige shade, paired with the original dark-stained herringbone parquet floor and olive-green joinery.

The long hall separates the living space on one side and the bedroom on the other. The wooden floorboards are white-pigmented, and the walls are painted in “Pale Beach” from Detale.

The apartment features three double bedrooms. The middle room is painted in a pleasant pink shade.

There is even enough space for a small desk by the large window.

Period-style wardrobes are fitted around the door, featuring Buster & Punsch fittings and painted in the same pink hue as the walls. The joinery is painted in a darker pink shade.

The master bedroom features the same custom-built-in wardrobes with Buster & Punsch fittings. The walls are painted in “Vintage Surf” from Detale paired with creamy-white joinery.

The bedroom also has access to a small balcony.

The third bedroom is now a charming children’s room with a sunny yellow-and-white striped ceiling.

The bathroom is exclusively renovated with a sink and floor-standing toilet in classic English style from Burlington.

The cast iron clawfoot bathtub has a stylish ceiling shower set with tap from Maxima.

Classic square white tiles on the walls are paired with a mosaic white floor. Smart, tiled built-in shelves offer plenty of storage space.

The hall is fitted with three built-in wardrobes with fittings from Buster & Punsch as well as a storage bench by the front door, all painted in Ivory White.

A charming arched doorway separates the entry hall from the long hall leading to the interior rooms.
