A Unique Basement Apartment in Stockholm
This basement apartment in Stockholm has been inspired by the lower ground-floor apartment in London. But despite its basement location, the apartment feels very light thanks to huge skylights, a light color scheme, and a glass wall between the living room and bedroom.
The apartment is decorated in an industrial style with raw industrial floors, a modern stainless steel kitchen, and large skylights. The apartment has two bedrooms and a very private terrace thanks to the mountain slope surrounding it.
The sitting room is tucked between the bedroom on one side and the kitchen on the other side. The glass wall ensures the room gets natural light, and the large round mirror also helps to reflect light.
A light gray sliding glass doors separates the master bedroom from the living space without losing that open feeling.
The bedroom is painted in a lovely light yellow shade and has access to the patio.
One wall has been fitted with custom wardrobes and a bench to provide plenty of storage in this open plan apartment.
The kitchen is specially designed by Oscar Properties’ design team and the stripped-down studio/workshop feel of the project is enhanced by the consistent choice of stainless steel for the worktop, fronts, hood, and leg frame.
The second bedroom is now used as a colorful children’s room painted in green, red, and blue shades.
The little nook is used as the bed nook.
The apartment is listed for sale at Svensk Fastighetsförmedling
