A Victorian House with a Blue deVOL Kitchen
I can’t get enough of English Victorian houses, and today, I want to share this extended semi-detached home with a blue deVOL kitchen. The Victorian house in the Richmond area of London was recently renovated and redesigned, using blue and gray tones on the ground floor and pink tones in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The heart of the home is the grand family kitchen in the new extension. With skylights and doors leading to the garden, this room is very light and connects to the outdoors. But every room is beautiful, the living rooms have beautiful period features, and the master suite is a pink beauty.
With 3.5-meter-high ceilings and skylights, the family kitchen is a bright and impressive space. A classic herringbone floor lies underfoot and is paired with white walls and blue cabinets.
The kitchen is designed by my favorite kitchen designer, DeVOL. The blue cabinets, painted in deVOL’s Trinity Blue, are paired with a Nero Assoluto worktop and a Lacanche range cooker.
In the center stands a large wooden dining table with bench seating with underneath storage.
Beautiful Crittall doors lead you to the television room fitted with custom white painted cabinets and a white wooden floor.
The formal sitting room is located at the front of the house and features the original cast iron stove flanked by bookshelves and cabinets. The walls are painted in a calming blue-green shade.
The master bedroom is painted in a soft beige-pink shade and paired with pink bedding.
The pink en suite bathroom features a freestanding copper bath.
The home features Catchpole and Rye bathroom fittings.
The house is listed for £1,650,000 at Catell & Co
