An Extended Family Home in London with Pink Crittall Doors

This family home in the Kensington area in London was recently refurbished and extended by its current owners. The 230 square meter home has been widened, creating spacious living spaces.

The five-bedroom house is divided over four floors. The lower floor is home to a wonderful open kitchen and dining space, while the floor above is turned into a bright living room with pink Crittal doors. The home features a nice color palette, from dark blue in the living room to pastel tones in the kitchen.

We’re starting the tour on the entrance level, where you will find a double living room separated by wonderful pink Crittall doors. This glass partition helps to distribute natural light throughout the floor.

The front room is turned into a sitting room, and the dark blue shade of the custom cabinets continues on the walls, which is paired with yellow textiles. The three large windows in the front and the two in the back turn this open living space into a bright space despite the dark wall color.

One floor below lies the kitchen and dining room, which is designed as one big social space with a kitchen island, a dining table, and a seating area. The kitchen is designed in pastel green and pink shades paired with a marble countertop.

Two large skylights and sliding glass doors to the garden turn this basement area into a bright living space.

A small room on the lower ground floor is turned into a playroom with bespoke cabinets in teal green and brown.

On the first floor, you will find the master bedroom, painted in a soft beige shade, and bespoke cabinets. The bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.

The en-suite bathroom is a vibrant space with blue tiles and Moroccan-style floor tiles. The room has a shower with marble floor tile and a freestanding bath under the window.
