Contemporary Architect-Designed Interiors in a Victorian House

When you stand on the London road filled with traditional Victorian houses using London stock brick with white stucco dressings, you will have no idea what you will find inside. This Victorian house in Clapton is completely transformed by its owner, architect William Paul.

When you step into the house, you are greeted by a vast open-plan space with double high ceilings, a five-meter tall glass wall facing the garden, and a concrete and oak material palette.

When you step into the open-plan living space, your eye is drawn toward the soaring glass windows at the back facing the garden. The left wall is made of concrete, adding a mid-20th-century design element to the Victorian home.
