A Cozy Apartment with Exposed Brick and Period Details
This charming apartment is located in a corner position in a beautiful Gothenburg building from the beginning of the 20th century. The 74 square meter home pairs modern practicalities with charming historical details like wooden doors and exposed brickwork.
Original elements have been preserved or added in a similar style, while the kitchen and bathroom have been renovated to add modern comforts. The home is decorated in a muted color palette of paints and wallpapers, making the original elements stand out even more.

The living room is the heart of the home with walls painted in Soft Mint by Jotun and original light wooden floorboards that run throughout the living space and the bedroom.

A cozy reading corner has been created with bookcases painted in the same color as the walls and a floral upholstered lounge chair.

The room is lighted by two large windows and original elements like the wooden doors to the bedroom and the exposed brick wall add character to the space.

A pair of beautiful wooden doors leads you to the apartment’s master bedroom, which is located in the building’s tower room with a lovely bay window.

The room pairs a light gray wallpaper (Pure Honeysuckle & Tulip from William Morris) with exposed brickwork.

In the hall, the Pigkammaren wallpaper from Boråstapeter adorns the walls.

The kitchen was renovated in 2020 in a classic style with light gray cabinet doors, white backsplash tiles, and a light terrazzo countertop.

In the corner, there is space for a dining table. I love this round wooden table; it adds so much character to the room.

The kitchen look is completed with light pink walls and a checkered marmoleum floor.

The second bedroom is now a charming children’s room with walls painted in “Dusky Blue” by Jotun and beautiful ceiling stucco work.

The ochre yellow canopy adds a warm and bold color pop to the room.

The bathroom is simple but stylish with white tiles on the walls and gray on the floor, paired with a black vanity cabinet from Gustavsberg and a round mirror.

A spacious walk-in closet can be accessed via the hall, which features the same checkered floor as the kitchen.

The apartment building features a charming courtyard with multiple seating areas and lush plantings.
