House of Hackney Autumn/Winter Collection Is Inspired by William Morris
William Morris believed in the power of design to transform lives, to reconnect people with nature, create meaningful work, democratize art, and revive local communities. More than a century later, his radical vision feels as urgent as ever.
This season, House of Hackney pays tribute to that legacy with a new Autumn/Winter collection that positions design as more than decoration, but as a force for change.
Reimagined for a contemporary audience, some of Morris’ most iconic prints are brought into the twenty-first century through bold, larger-than-life scales and reimagined colourways.
Alongside these, new designs inspired by Morris’ poetry and utopian ideals offer a glimpse into a dreamlike future, viewed through the lens of the past.
The collection extends beyond pattern into craft, with fabrics and furniture that celebrate artistry, imagination, and the enduring spirit of creativity.
This is William Morris like you’ve never seen him before, where timeless values meet modern surrealism, and art is not only lived with, but lived by.

The William Morris patterns are available as wallpaper, fabric, or screens, such as the GOLDEN Lily De Beauvoir screen seen above.
