A Small Renovated 1920s Apartment in Stockholm
In the heart of Stockholm stands a beautiful renovated 1920s apartment with original details such as parquet flooring, double doors, stucco, moldings, and slatted windows that provide a beautiful atmosphere.
The 52 square meter apartment has a nice floorplan with a living room and dining area at the front of the house, a kitchen in the center, and a bedroom facing the courtyard. Thanks to the windows on two sides of the apartment, the rooms are also very light which gives the home an inviting atmosphere.
The living room is a charming room with two large windows and high ceilings. The walls of the room are painted a nice gray-green color and the original herringbone parquet lies on the floor which adds a warm touch to the room.
The second half of the living room is used as a dining space with easy access to the kitchen through the double glass doors.
The kitchen is located in the heart of the home. The room was recently renovated with sleek white cabinets, a dark worktop, and white subway tiles. Thanks to the double doors, you can easily socialize during dinner parties or you can close them and cook in private.
From the kitchen, you enter the small bedroom.
The apartment’s bedroom is narrow but it is just wide enough for a double bed while the window sill is used as a nightstand. The walls in the bedroom are painted in a light green shade called ‘Minty Breeze’ by Jotun.
The room is narrow but it is long, so there is plenty of room for wardrobes and a desk.
The narrow hallway has two shelves, one for coats and bags and one for shoes. The walls are painted in the same calm gray-green shade as the living room and kitchen.
