A Small Stockholm Apartment with a Gray Bedroom & Sunny Balcony

Although this Stockholm apartment’s floor plan is only 27 square meters, thanks to the light color scheme, the balcony, and the use of mirrors in the bedroom, it doesn’t feel that small.

The tiny turn-of-the-century apartment features an open-plan living room and kitchen with a sunny balcony overlooking the cozy courtyard. The bedroom is separate, painted in a soft gray shade, and fitted with shelves and mirror wardrobes.

The entire apartment was renovated in 2021, adding new colors, a light wooden floor, and a new kitchen.

The large glass doors leading to the balcony turn the open-plan living room into a light space. This lightness is enhanced by the white walls, light wooden floor, and light-colored furnishings.

The owners opted for a kitchen with dark blue cabinets and a stainless steel worktop to contrast the light color scheme. There are no upper cabinets to keep an open feeling in the small space.

The bedroom is painted in a calm gray shade and thanks to the large window, the room feels light and airy.
