A Spacious Kitchen and Dining Area in a Serene Stockholm Apartment
This beautiful apartment is located on the third floor of an early 20th-century apartment building near the Norr Mälarstrand neighborhood in Stockholm. The 70-square-meter apartment has recently undergone an extensive renovation, with a focus on highlighting and recreating historical details while creating comfortable spaces with contemporary amenities.
The apartment’s floor plan has been optimized. A large kitchen and dining area is now the heart of the home, and is connected to the living room. The living room and bedroom are more cozy spaces, but still spacious for comfortable living.

The entire apartment is painted in a serene and warm beige shade, which is paired with high wall paneling in the living room and a beautiful parquet floor.

The sitting room is comfortable with a large window facing the street. The 3.2-meter-high ceiling adds volume to the interior spaces.

A gray sofa sits in the center of the room, flanked on one side by the striped “SIMESTED” Jysk chairs and on the other by a bouclé sofa.

From the living room, you move into the bedroom, which also faces the street. The walls and the high skirting boards are painted in the same neutral shade for a calm look.

The bedroom is decorated in a similar style to the living room with gray textiles and built-in wardrobes along two walls.

The apartment’s front door opens directly into the kitchen and dining room.

In this space, the parquet floor makes room for a gray and white checkered tile floor, which suits the classic style beautifully.

A cozy dining area has been created in the corner, featuring an L-shaped bench and a wooden table. A large poster, “La Caisse Simon” by Leonetto Cappiello, hangs above the dining space.

The kitchen was specifically designed and built for this room and features a Bertazzoni hob as well as beautiful gray terrazzo countertops.

A high kitchen cabinet is fitted on the corner to create a little entry niche. The cabinet has been fitted with simple wall hooks for coats.

An inner hall, fitted with built-in storage hidden by a curtain leads to the apartment’s bathroom.

The apartment is listed for sale at Behrer.
