A Swedish Apartment with a Dark Blue Living Room and Exposed Brick
In a National Romantic apartment complex, built in 1921, in the Swedish city of Gothenburg stands this charming two bedroom apartment with a dark blue liivng room and an exposed brick wall in the master bedroom.
The 71 square meter apartment features original elements like windows, mirror doors, and moldings, that offer a charming atmosphere to the rooms. Large window flood the rooms, that are decorated in typical natural Scandi style, with natural light.
The living room is designed in a open floor plan with the kitchen but they are clear separate rooms, mainly thanks to the use of color. The sitting room is painted in a moody dark blue, which makes the furniture and decor really stand out.
The apartment is styled by Livindeco in a typical Scandi style with light colors, natural materials, and layered textiles for a cozy atmosphere.
The kitchen is a wonderfully light space with gray kitchen cabinets paired with a Carrera marble countertop.
The soft green color on the wall adds a subtle color accent to the room.
The walls are a combination of pearl rafters and an exposed brick wall that gives the room character.
The room is decorated with complementing green and pink textiles for a calm look.
A narrow space between the two bedrooms is transformed into a small home office with pink walls.
The second bedroom is now a calm children’s bedroom with gray walls and a plywood feature wall that is part of the custom made bed/sofa.
