Soothing Colors in Designer Heidi Caillier’s Eclectic Washington Home
Can you add lots of color to a home and still have a serene look? Yes you can! Seattle-based interior designer Heidi Caillier has designed her own family home in Washington that achieves exactly that.
Heidi’s home is packed with color, it starts with the spectacular Shaker-style kitchen in a lovely green hue. Its combined with a terracotta floor and breakfast nook with vintage artwork. In the living room soft green, blue and floral patterns are combined effortlessly to create a warm, cozy eclectic look. The marble fireplace is a true eye-catcher in this lovely room.
Heidi didn’t shy away from color in more private rooms either, in one powder room the wood paneling is painted in a beautiful purple shade (Brassica by Farrow & Ball) and the master bedroom is painted in a blush pink shade (Setting Plaster by Farrow & Ball). I love this combination of color, textiles and styles. It’s the perfect eclectic home in my opinion.
