A Charming 1920s Apartment with a Green Bedroom
On the ground floor of a charming 1920s apartment complex in the heart of Stockholm, you can find this charming two-bedroom apartment with light gray, yellow, and green color accents.
The floor plan is lively, hospitable, cozy, and flexible, and it is incredibly well utilized, given that the apartment is only 73 square meters big. The kitchen is the heart of the home, flanked by the living room and master bedroom, and from here, you can access the private terrace in the courtyard.

The kitchen is a spacious and inviting room in the heart of the home. The kitchen table is in the middle of the room, surrounded and framed by chest panels and mirrored doors that are the same sober, warm gray color as the kitchen cabinets.
The light gray cabinets are paired with a solid wood worktop and shelf. Higher cabinets are placed on either side of the kitchen, so the actual workspace feels airy.
The living room is also decorated in a muted light gray palette paired with a light yellow rug. Period details such as moldings and ceiling rosettes give the room character, together with two large and slatted windows with spaniels, which face the balcony outside.
The master bedroom is painted in a lovely green shade. It’s a small room, but the large mirror helps to make it feel a little bit bigger.
The second bedroom is now a children’s room, with a window facing the living room, so it gets some natural light. Clever shelves have been added to the wall, providing storage space next to the bed.
