If you ever go to Stockholm you should pay a visit to the Mosebacke square on Södermalm (just north of Gamla Stan). Södermalm is the ‘hip’ area of Stockholm with vintage shops and cafe’s and Mosebacke is a truly pitoresque area with cobbled street and little hills.
Elsa Billgren lives with her husband and son in Mosebacke in an apartment on the 4th floor on a little hill and therefor is wonderfully light. Apart from painting the walls and adding a new kitchen, Elsa and her husband didn’t change anything in the apartment because it had so much charm. It has gorgeous wooden floors, a tradtional Swedish fireplace and stucco on the ceiling.
Elsa has decorated her home in a mixture of styles, with antique pieces, Scandinavian design and a touch of boho. I absolutely adore the warm, historic and eclectic charm in this home.
