Green and Apricot Rooms in a Charming Stockholm Apartment
This colorful 52 square meter apartment is located on the fourth floor of a turn-of-the-century apartment building in the Södermalm area of Stockholm. The apartment sits between two courtyards, creating a calm atmosphere and offering wonderful, lush views from the windows.
Some turn-of-the-century elements have been preserved, like the wooden floorboards, high ceilings, and the traditional Swedish fireplace. It is paired with a wonderful color palette of green and apricot shades, creating fresh, inviting interior spaces.

The living room is a pleasant space painted in a nice green shade, including the built-in wardrobes next to the balcony doors.

The owners tried to bring the outdoors in, not only by the color on the walls, but also with plants.

The room isn’t huge, but it is big enough for a comfortable seating area and a home office, or a sewing corner, as the current owners used it.

Glass doors open up to the courtyard balcony, extending the living space in the warmer months and offering a lovely view of the lush green courtyard.

The living room features an original tiled stove that adds historic character and warmth to the space.

On the other side of the hall lies the fresh white kitchen, which was renovated in 2021.

A round kitchen table with pink and white chairs sits in the center of the room, creating a natural gathering space.

The kitchen is made of classic white cabinets paired with a composite stone countertop and white backsplash tiles. A double row of upper cabinets maximizes storage space.

A red flowerpot pendant from &tradition and the blue checkered tablecloth add bold color pops to the light and white room.

The hall is painted in a lovely apricot pink shade paired with light wooden floorboards. The window above the bedroom door allows natural light to flow into the hall.

The bedroom is small, but big enough for a double bed with wall-mounted nightstands. The room is painted in a trending blue-green shade paired with light pink painted shelves.

A smart wardrobe system with hanging rods and shelves provides space for clothing. There are built-in wardrobes in the living room and the hall for more storage space.

The love for green continues into the bathroom, which is tiled in a green and white pattern.

The spacious hall features plenty of storage space with a built-in wardrobe and smaller cabinets by the front door. A wooden coat and shoe rack sits next to the front door.
