Large Rooms in an Art Nouveau Apartment in Sweden
High ceilings, large windows, and many period features from the turn of the century welcome you into this wonderful art nouveau apartment in the Swedish city Kristianstad.
The 111-square-meter apartment has an impressive ceiling height of 3.4 meters, and the rooms are airy, bright, and filled with beautiful stucco and ceiling rosettes.
The three rooms in a row form the central heart of the apartment, and when all the doors are opened, light comes in from two directions. A new kitchen has been fitted in a style that suits the original architecture very well.

The apartment has three grand rooms in a row that are connected by wooden double doors. The center room is now a charming living room with two large windows, bookshelves, and a warm parquet floor laid in a herringbone pattern.

When all doors are opened, the already grand rooms feel even more spacious.

Through the pink hallway, you enter the kitchen that was built on site by Lykkedal. The solid wood kitchen cabinets are painted in a muted yellow shade and paired with a classic marble countertop and butler sink. This kitchen may be new, but it suits the historic architecture of the apartment extremely well.

The kitchen space, with its cozy slanted walls, is big enough for a comfortable dining table.

Grand bedrooms with arched windows and wooden floors are on both sides of the living room. This bedroom has been painted in a calming blue shade and has a simple desk with a wooden top and trestle legs.

This bedroom can also be accessed via the pink hall, which is closed off with a curtain.

The second bedroom lies on the other side of the living room. It has the same grand proportions but this room has windows on two sides, making it extra bright.

A beautiful tiled fireplace with intricate patterns sits in the corner of the room.

The apartment has a simple bathroom with micro cement floor and walls and a walk-in shower.

The apartment was listed at Bjurfors.
