A London Apartment with a Turquoise and Pink Kitchen
Turquoise and pink are a bold color combination, but the owner of this London apartment combined these two colors for the apartment’s new kitchen. The two-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a Victorian house in East Dulwich in London. Some original elements remain, but what stands out the most are the new kitchen and bathroom.
The apartment is decorated in a mixture of style, you can see some Victorian elements, midcentury furniture, and modern additions like the new kitchen and the bathroom with Bert and May tiles.
I’m starting the tour in the kitchen because I simply love this color combination. The bespoke kitchen by Pluck features coral pink upper cabinets and turquoise lower cabinets topped with a sleek Corian worktop. It’s cheerful, fun, and unique.
The living room sits at the front of the house, with large double windows overlooking a quiet street. The yellow sofa and chair add a nice color pop to the neutral space.
The recently renovated bathroom features monochrome tiles from Bert & May, a large oval bath, a walk-in shower with a ribbed glass shower wall, and brass fixtures that add a luxurious look.
On the top floor lies another room where the owner’s love of color also shines through. The tongue-and-groove are painted in vibrant orange and pink hues.
The apartment is listed for £550,000 at The Modern House.
