Golden Yellow Walls in a Colorful Swedish Studio Apartment
Have you noticed that we see more homes with yellow walls or kitchens? In the last couple of weeks I’ve shared many yellow homes, from a pastel yellow and pink apartment to Hannes Mauritzson’s hygge yellow apartment and yellow is also one of the trending colors for 2025, and today I want to share this studio apartment with golden yellow walls.
This spacious one-bedroom apartment has a continuous floor plan with windows in two directions, a separate kitchen, and a cozy courtyard balcony. The 36 square meter studio apartment was recently repainted, adding a golden yellow hue on the living area walls and vibrant blue kitchen cabinets.
The golden yellow hue on the walls creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in the one-room apartment. The original wooden floorboards lie on the floor, and the balcony is a nice extension to the living area in the summer months.
The sand colored sofa is a calm point in the room. The sitting area is lighted with the hanging lamp n°5 by muller van severen.
The room is big enough for a comfortable seating area by the window and a double bed against the bathroom wall.
I love how they didn’t shy away from color in this little home. The warm yellow walls are paired with colorful cabinets, bedding, and art.
The other side of the room is decorated for sleeping, it’s big enough for a double bed and the brass Frama wall lamp also serves as a nightstand.
The kitchen is located on the other side of the hall. The kitchen cabinets and window frame are recently painted in a vibrant blue shade.
Of course, that’s not the only color we can see in the kitchen. It’s paired wth a small blue and red kitchen table, a green chair, and a red side table. On the floor lies a classic checkerboard vinyl floor.
