Have you already booked your summer holiday? If not then I might be able to tempt you to make a trip to Tuscany, Italy. The Val D’orica hamlet is a UNESCO World Heritage Site but the buildings were crumbling and falling into despair.
That is unitil Michael Cioffi decided to revive the hamlet into a luxurious hotel, restaurant and spa. Monteverdi Hotel is designed by interior designer Ilaria Miani and consists of 29 luxurious rooms and 3 holiday villas.
The hamlet’s 14th-century Chiesa Sant’ Andrea church and the piazza were also restored and are now used for cultural activities.
