Pink and Green Rooms and Charming Wallpapers in a Family Apartment
If you love homes packed with color and wallpapers, then you’re going to love this Scandinavian family home. The apartment lies on the third floor of a historic Art Nouveau building and indoors, you’re greeted by lively and welcoming rooms with colorful walls and furniture, plenty of art, and historic elements like tiled fireplaces.
Every room has its own character, but the interior is tied together by a cohesive color scheme and original details such as wooden floors, skirting boards, and other joinery. The spacious rooms, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms make this Stockholm apartment a perfect family home.
Even though the interiors are colorful and eclectic, they have a cohesive look thanks to the Toniton Green and Toniton Peach color palette used throughout the home. Additionally, all the wallpapers also have green as their base color.
The light green cabinets are paired with brass fittings, a Carrara marble sink, and green Moroccan tiles.
The kitchen space is big, making it perfect for dinner parties, but it’s decorated in such a cozy way with pink walls, a large rug, bookshelves, and art that it’s also a very cozy space for small family dinners.
Attached to the kitchen is one of two balconies, overlooking the courtyard.
The cozy living room is completely decorated with the green William Morris ‘The Brook’ wallpaper.
The living room is a charming space with a beautiful wooden floor, colorful furniture, and a white tiled fireplace in the corner.
From the living room, you move into a room with a bay window that is now used as a home office.
The walls in the study are decorated with the ‘Alderney’ wallpaper from Colefax and Fowler.
The light blue fireplace in the corner suits the color scheme perfectly.
The pink and green color scheme continues in the master bedroom, where the walls are decorated with the Pavona-Vivienne wallpaper from Little Green.
The apartment has two bathrooms. The largest bathroom is designed with a glossy green look and black hexagon floor tiles paired with brass fittings. In this bathroom, there is also a designated spot for the washer and dryer.
One of the smaller bedrooms is painted in the same color scheme as the kitchen: Toniton Green and Toniton Peach.
The second smaller room is decorated with the Svenskt Tenn ‘Paradise’ wallpaper paired with Toniton green joinery.
The smaller bathroom is in the other part of the apartment and has white handmade tiles on the walls, black hexagon tiles on the floor, a Moroccan sink, and a vanity from Superfront.
The hallway is decorated in the ‘Bird & Pomegranate’ wallpaper from William Morris. The woodwork is painted green, just like in the rest of the apartment.
