Scandinavian Design Meets The Hamptons in a Swedish Country House
This beautiful white-painted villa is located on a hill in a quiet location in the Stockholm archipelago. The house was built in 2008, and the architectural style and the interiors blend Hamptons style with Scandinavian elegance.
A gravel path leads you to the white villa, where a charming veranda and a white fence welcome you. The ground floor is home to the living spaces that seamlessly flow together and a bedroom, while the upstairs houses another sitting room and three more bedrooms.

A beautiful veranda with a wooden deck and wicker furniture provides a charming seating area for a cup of coffee or reading a book, while the children play in the pool at the back of the house.

Black double doors lead you inside into the spacious foyer with gray-striped walls and a site-built staircase.

The ground floor is mainly open-plan, but there are separate zones for lounging, cooking, and dining with a brick fireplace as the central point of the living spaces.

The entire home is decorated using a muted color palette of gray and blue hues, but with layered textiles and comfy seating, the spaces feel warm and welcoming.

The kitchen was site-built, made of solid wooden doors and walnut drawers. The deep blue shade of the cabinets perfectly fits in the Hamptons/coastal style they used to decorate this villa.

The dark blue cabinets are paired with brass knobs and Carrera marble countertops and backsplash.

Narrow, double doors made of solid walnut give access to a small pantry room.

The pantry also features dark blue cabinets paired with wooden shelves and classic, tongue-and-groove paneling.

A charming coffee corner with walnut shelves and integrated lighting is fitted next to the fridge.

From the kitchen, you walk into the dining area with a nice vaulted ceiling and glass doors leading to the outdoor terrace.

The walls are decorated with the House of Hackney “Palmeral” wallpaper.

The ground floor also has a smart utility room with a checkered floor and a small bathroom with tongue-and-groove paneling and a sauna.

Upstairs, you enter an open space that is now used as a second sitting room. With the white-painted floorboards, pitched wooden ceiling, and light furniture, this room is designed in a fresh coastal style paired with Scandinavian pieces.

This sitting room also gives access to the spacious balcony above the front door.

The first floor has three bedrooms. The master bedroom pairs a light gray carpet with dark blue, floral wallpaper from BorĂĄstapeter, and gray built-in wardrobes.

There is a luxurious bathroom on this floor with marble floor tiles, light brown walls, a freestanding clawfoot bath, a walk-in shower, and double sinks with a marble top.

The bath is placed at an angle so you can look out of the window toward the mountain.

The house comes with a beautiful garden, perfectly designed for long summer days.

There is another bedroom in the small guest house in the garden.

At the front of the house, there is a nice green garden space with goldenrod, lilac bushes, elderberries, cherry plums, and apple trees.

The house is listed for sale at LF Fastighetsförmedling.
