A Spacious Turn-of-the-Century Apartment with Nice Color Accents
This three-bedroom early 20th-century apartment pairs turn-of-the-century charm with a contemporary color palette. The apartment is the result of the merger of two smaller ones, and you can see that in the layout. One side is home to a social living area, kitchen, and dining room, while the more private part houses the three bedrooms.
Original elements from the beginning of the century have been preserved. High ceilings, stucco, and original fireplaces add historic charm to the rooms which is paired with a contemporary interior style.

The living room is an inviting room with walls painted in an earthy dark beige/brown shade, a traditional fireplace in the corner, and wooden floorboards.

Even though the walls in the apartment are painted in muted and natural shades, the owners added bolder color pops with the decor. In the living room, they opted for a fabulous ochre yellow and blue rug.

The living room also gives access to one of two balconies.

From the living room, you move into the dining room which is in a semi-open floor plan with the kitchen. In here, the light gray walls and wooden furniture are paired with a vibrant yellow, blue, and red rug.

The kitchen was site-built by Smålands Snickeri, featuring teal green cabinets paired with brass handles, and a Carrara marble countertop.

The extra large sink with brass taps is fitted under the window.

The apartment has three bedrooms. The largest room, with a balcony, is now the master bedroom. The walls are painted in a dark gray shade paired with purple and pink color accents in the bedding and curtains.

The long wall is fitted with white wardrobes, offering plenty of storage space.

Because the apartment is a result of a merger between two smaller homes, there are two central hallways, this narrow passageway decorated with blue floral wallpaper, and an inner hall by the bedrooms.

The two smaller bedrooms are now used as children’s rooms.

The inner hall by the bedrooms is used as a playroom for the children.

The central hall that is now used is spacious and smartly planned with a built-in bench and a coat rack. The white paneled walls are paired with blue floral wallpaper.

The guest toilet features handmade Italian tile floors from La Riggiola.
