A Swedish Apartment with a Lovely Kitchen
In the Södermalm area of the Swedish capital city Stockholm, you can find a beautiful light apartment in a historic building dating from 1905. The 85 square meter apartment features charming light rooms and a beautiful spacious kitchen with pink walls and wallpaper.
The light Swedish apartment features original details such as stucco on the ceiling, a traditional Swedish fireplace, and wooden floorboards. The apartment is decorated in a soft color scheme with light gray and pink walls and beautiful calm wallpapers in the children’s bedrooms.
I love the light and airy atmosphere as well as the soft color tones that were used in this beautiful family home in Stockholm.
The kitchen is often named ‘the heart of the home’, and in this apartment, that’s certainly the case. The kitchen was renovated a couple of years ago and now features light gray cabinets, pink walls, and floral wallpaper.
The kitchen has Shaker-style doors from Pickyliving that are hand painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Charleston Gray’. The gray cabinets are paired with a Jura gray limestone slab and backsplash and crisp white tiles.
On one side, the kitchen walls are painted in a lovely pink shade and on the other side they are decorated in William Morris wallpaper.
The living room is a lovely light space with gray-green painted walls and two large windows overlooking the courtyard.
Both children’s bedrooms are decorated with wallpaper. The first bedroom has a loft bed, a vintage wardrobe, and walls decorated with blue ‘Prairie Rose’ wallpaper from Boråstapeter.
The second children bedroom is a lovely room wth a hidden desk area and floral wallpaper.
The bathroom looks fresh and stylish with marble floor tiles, a double wooden vanity with marble top, and white subway tiles on the walls.
