The Colorful Brooklyn Family Home of Sylvana Durrett

This lovely colorful home in Brooklyn belongs t Sylvana Durrett, cofounder of children’s e-commerce boutique Maisonette, her husband and their 3 children.

Sylvana wanted a space that would lend itself well to family living while being formal enough for entertaining on a grand scale. Together with interior designer Jesse Carrier of Carrier and Company Interiors, did they design a stylish but playful family home with lots of color (mainly blue because that’s Sylvana’s favourite color) and a wonderful high-low mix where design pieces are being combined with more affordable design.

I love this bright and fun home and I’m sure it’s a delight to grow up here.
