A Tiny and Luxurious Apartment in Stockholm
In a 1930s building close to the waterfront in the classy Stockholm area, Östermalm stands this charming one-bedroom apartment that may be small but makes up for the lack of space with a classy design style.
The apartment has a floor plan of only 36 square meters. It is a pretty dark home with only one window, so the owners opted for a glass wall between the living room and bedroom, ensuring the living room and kitchen still get some natural light.

The main rooms are situated in a row, with the bedroom by the window, a living room in the center, and the kitchen in the back. The apartment is decorated in a fairly light color scheme, with a light sand tone on the walls and light-colored textiles.
The tiny bedroom is big enough for a 180cm bed, and one wall is fitted with wardrobes, providing plenty of storage space. As you could see in the previous picture, one cabinet is open, so the owners shoe collection is on full display.
A wide doorway leads you to the back room, where you’ll find the kitchen. The entire apartment features the original parquet floor.
Another hint of the apartment’s history is the fireplace in the corner of the room.
The kitchen is simple and practical, with white cabinets and golden fittings. The island features two bar stools, so there is no dining table, though the room could accommodate that.
The bathroom was recently renovated, featuring light-colored tilework, a walk-in shower, brass fittings, and space for a washing machine.
The apartment is listed for sale at Oscars Mäkleri.
