Warm Tones and a Blue Hallway in a Stockholm Apartment
I would describe this apartment as warm and welcoming. One big factor in making it so warm is the wooden floor that runs through the entire home, which has been stained in a reddish-brown tone.
Besides the floor, the apartment is decorated in light neutral tones with the occasional soft green color accent and floral wallpaper in the bedroom. But then you get to the hallway, and I was not expecting that! I will leave it to you to decide if you like it or not; it certainly makes the entrance to the apartment interesting.

The living room is a charming space with that warm wooden floor and two large windows facing a quiet street.
There is no need to decorate with more warm color tones with this floor, but the large textured rug does bring a cozy vibe to the room.
The shelves in the living room filled with books, art, and other items give the room a lived in feeling.
With the wooden doors open, they create a nice spacious living room and kitchen.
The apartment has a classic kitchen with white cabinets, an oak worktop, and white subway tiles. There is plenty of storage space as one wall is fitted with floor to ceiling cabinets.
They added a floral wallpaper as an accent wall in the bedroom which adds a nice vibrant color pop to the room. The wallpaper is called ‘Herbarium’ by Stig Landberg.
I love this vintage vanity table.
The smaller bedroom is now used as a children’s room which has a built-in wardrobe and shelves combined with a desk. This room also gives access to a lovely balcony facing the courtyard.
That is unexpected.. in a home filled with neutral tones and wood, we’re suddenly in a vibrant hallway where the walls and ceiling are painted in a bold blue shade.
