A Stylish White deVOL Kitchen in an Edwardian House

For this kitchen, the designers at deVOL combined the natural wooden Haberdasher cabinets with Shaker cupboards painted in ‘Damask’ a white paint color that adds a fresh look to the timeless cabinet style.
The backsplash is made of the white Crackle Metro Tile. Despite what you might think in a space with white walls and cabinets, the subtle variations in tone of these handmade tiles actually stand out more in a white space.
This kitchen shows a great variation in cabinets. The island, with its wooden worktop, features drawers, glass front cabinets, and open shelving. The wall that houses the fridge, features cabinets all the way to the ceiling and a pantry cabinet to maximize space, while the kitchen area with the sink and the cooker only has a shelf to create an airy feeling.
Brass fittings add a classic, luxurious touch to the kitchen. The hanging rails above the worktop offers plenty of storage space for items that would otherwise clutter up the workspace.
An AGA stove, which you would normally see in a farmhouse, also works beautifully in a city home.
Above the island hangs the deVOL Heirloom Gaselier Light.
