A Yellow Mediterranean-style deVOL Kitchen with High Ceilings

After almost ten years, deVOL Kitchens has updated their Loft Kitchen at their Cotes Mill showroom, creating a Mediterranean-style kitchen with yellow cabinets, a rustic wooden floor, and high ceilings with exposed wooden beams.

The loft-style room where you will find this kitchen forms the perfect base for a kitchen. The high, barn-like ceilings and natural light make this room very light. The worn wooden floor, vintage wooden accessories, and Mediterranean-colored pots and bowls create a warm, lived-in feeling.

The sunny update of this beautiful kitchen has been achieved with a new lick of paint on the timeless deVOL Shaker cabinets, a new Carrera marble worktop, and aged brass fittings. And what a difference this new color makes; it looks completely fresh and warm and showcases the shift toward more colorful interior design.

When choosing a classic cupboard design like these deVOL Shaker cabinets, you don’t need to remodel your kitchen completely to create a fresh, new look. These cabinets are painted in the warm and sunny ‘Scullery Yellow’ from deVOL, making the decade-old cupboards look like new again.

The central island incorporates the gas hob and ovens while also maintaining the simplicity of the room. The island provides plenty of storage with closed drawers and open shelves on the sides.

Thanks to the large floorplan, there is space for a beautiful vintage prep table in front of the window and on the other side a round dining table.

The designers added four Heirloom Task Lights to the room that flood the room with light in the darker hours.

I love the blend of rustic elements like the wooden floor and the exposed brick wall with the sleek Carrera marble worktop.

To complete the vintage look of this yellow kitchen, they added the round deVOL Vineyard Table paired with two vintage chairs.
