A Small Bohemian Apartment in Paris
Let’s add a little French bohemian style to your day. Interior stylist Aude Joli Jour has created the perfect bohemian apartment in Paris.
Aude’s apartment is only 44 square meter, but every inch has been so beautifully designed that you don’t miss anything.
The living room is a combined living, dining and work area. With large windows overlooking the quiet courtyard. You hardly believe you’re in the center of Paris when you look outside these windows.
The tree walls in the living room all have (a different) wallpaper. Behind the seating area Aude put a beautiful soft lanscape wallpaper by Ananbô.
The sofa is actually made of bedframes that she dressed up with fabrics and load of pillows in pink and mustard yellow colors.

The office space in the living room is simple. Just a couple of green shelves hanging on the wall. But by adding books, decorative objects and vintage art Aude created a cozy look.

I’m truly in love with this dining space. Open doors leading to the green courtyard, a beautiful fireplace, a rustic wooden dining table with vintage rattan chairs and to make the look complete loads of flowers.

Contrary to what you might think, using dark colors in a tiny room is a good idea. Aude’s kitchen shows that. Aude added a beautiful Au Fil des Couleurs wallpaper and linen curtains to hide clutter. Because the kitchen is so small, it is very clever not to use upper cabinets, which will make it feel even smaller.
To hide the (not too pretty) white tile floor, Aude added a vinyl floor mat by Beija Flor (super clever if you live in a rental apartment like Aude).
Initially, the bedroom was kept relatively calm without wallpaper, but recently, she added wallpaper and painted the ceiling.
Aude is lucky to have a ground-floor apartment, so when the weather is nice, she can extend her living room into the green courtyard. Isn’t it great that you can find this in the center of Paris?
