A Swedish Apartment Painted in Calm Beige, Green, and Pink Tones
If you’re looking for a home interior that evokes a great sense of calm, then you should take a look at this two-bedroom apartment in Gothenburg. The 80-square-meter apartment is situated in an early 20th-century building and is painted in a muted palette of beige, green, and pink.
To choose a color palette, I think the owners looked at the wallpaper they had chosen for the hallway. In this wallpaper design, shades of green, pink, and beige/yellow are visible, similar to the colors on the walls. Looking at a statement wallpaper you want to use in your home is a great way of deciding on a harmonious color palette.

The sitting room is painted in a calm and warm beige shade, which looks beautiful in combination with the wooden floorboards. One wall is fitted with custom cabinets to keep the room tidy while also offering space to display art and books.

Glass doors separate the living room from the kitchen. When opened, you create a wonderful social floor plan.

The kitchen is completely painted in a soothing green shade (probably Jotun’s Antique Green). This cupboard shade is paired with a wooden countertop and door knobs.

above the workspace hangs Woud’s Annular pendant lamp in soft pink.

The dining table is placed in front of the window. The plants hanging in front of the window connect the green outdoors with the inside.

The master bedroom is painted in Jotun’s calm shade, ‘Humble Yellow,’ creating a serene and natural abode in combination with the wooden floorboards and rattan headboard.

The room is fitted with many built-in wardrobes to maximize storage space.

The second bedroom is also very spacious. In this room, you can see the house’s history with the original built-in cabinets and wood-paneled walls.

The William Morris’ Leicester’ wallpaper, which inspired the home’s color palette, hangs in the spacious hall. The storage baskets are from Norrgavel.
