A Cozy 1920s Apartment Filled with Books, Art, and Music
This charming apartment with cozy nooks and two bedrooms is located on the first floor of the 1920s building in Stockholm. The home has a slightly unusual layout because it is the result of merging two smaller apartments.
Some original elements from the 1920s have been preserved, like mirror doors, old serving cabinets, and a herringbone parquet floor in the master bedroom.
These older elements are paired with white plastered walls, a new herringbone parquet floor in all the other rooms, and a simple white kitchen. The books, art, music collection, and vintage pieces create a cozy atmosphere in the home.

From the hall, you walk straight into the open-plan living room and kitchen, with a herringbone parquet floor, lots of books and art, and cozy textiles.

The open plan between the living room, hall, and kitchen creates a spacious feeling in the home.

The room has a unique floor plan with a charming niche by the balcony, which is now used as a dining area.

The kitchen bar creates a separate cooking zone, while also partially hiding the kitchen from view from the sitting area.

The apartment features a simple white Marbodal kitchen with a wooden countertop and tiled walls.

Glass doors in the kitchen open toward a charming balcony with rattan furniture.

An open hall connects the living room with the two bedrooms. The inner hall features original 1920s serving cabinets.

The master bedroom is a spacious room featuring the same off-white shade on the walls as seen throughout the rest of the apartment. In this room, it is paired with the original 1920s herringbone parquet floor.

The room has plenty of space for a seating area, a desk, and wardrobes.

The smaller room is a cozy children’s space with a desk and a window overlooking the courtyard.
