A 1930s Apartment with Gray Rooms and Period Features
In a Swedish apartment building from the 1930s stands this charming two-bedroom apartment that was recently renovated. The apartment features original elements such as original wooden floorboards, a built-in pantry, and built-in cabinets.
The entire apartment is decorated in gray and green tones, creating calm spaces that look beautifully in combination with the original wooden floorboards and stylish Scandinavian furniture.
The apartment has a small living room that is painted in a mid-gray tone. The room is just big enough for a comfortable seating area, defined by a gray rug, and a dining table.
One wall is decorated with art, adding a personal and vibrant tone to the space.
The kitchen is designed with classic Shaker style cabinets in a muted gray tone that is paired with a amrble worktop and tongue and groove backsplash paneling.
Next to the pantry, the owners created a tiny breakfast nook with a simple wooden benach and a small moveable black table.
The master bedroom is painted in a dark gray hue with green undertones. This moody tone is paired with pink bedding adding a warm color touch.
The room is fitted with built-in wardrobes with doors in the same style and the kitchen cupboards. The niche next to the wardrobes is turned into a small home office with a floating desk painted in the same color as the wall to make it blend in.
The hallway is deocrated with the green William Morris Willow wallpaper.
