A Beautiful Chapel Conversion in Sweden
Raise your hand if you love a good church conversion! I absolutely love it when people convert old buildings that no longer serve their original purpose and transform them into beautiful homes, restaurants etc. In the Swedish town Kumla stands this former chapel and rectory that has been lovingly restored. The chapel is now being used as a restaurant (Egastronomi) whith a light 2-bedroom apartment in the wing.
On the real estate pictures you see here the chapel has been decorated as an open-plan living and kitchen area which looks amazing. The long room has arched windows and wood-paneled walls and above the kitchen you’ll find a beautiful painted ceiling. The former rectory is now being used as a guest accomondation with its own (green) kitchen, a living room and bedroom. It think this chapel conversion looks absolutely beautiful!
