A Characteristic Design Villa with Carriage House in The Netherlands
I do a lot of real estate stalking to find content for the blog. And today while I was real estate stalking in The Netherlands I came across this beautiful villa with carriage house in The Netherlands. The style looked a bit familiar and I was right about that because this home is designed by Jeroen van Zwetselaar and I have featured a project by him before (a railway house in The Netherlands).
Jeroen completely redesigned the early 20th-century villa by opening up the ground floor and giving it an almost loft feeling. Connecting to the old carriage house is now a new modern addition which houses the black kitchen and which has double doors leading towards the garden. I love the moody vibe in this home with the occasional yellow color pop to give it some brightness and even though it’s modern it still has an old characteristic atmosphere.
