A Creative Bohemian Home in Copenhagen – Revisited

Does this look familiar? If you’ve followed The Nordroom for a while you’re right because this home has been featured on the blog before (see it here). Back then we got the images from Instagram but now the home has been professionally photographed for Elle Decoration and I felt I simply has to share this beautiful home again.

When Sus Mogensen (@susliving) and her family came across an old industrial building in Copenhagen they immediately saw the potential. Together with her sister they bought the building and completely stripped and redesigned the property.

Sus and her family live on the ground floor and her home is a creative bohemian dream home. Many things you see in the home are DIY projects and they used many reclaimed materials to keep it affordable but also sustainable. For example in the kitchen they used a simple IKEA base but used reclaimed wooden planks to give it a rustic and unique look. This home is so warm and unique it must be a dream to live here.
