A Minimalistic Wooden Home Overlooking the Provence Countryside
The plan this year was to go to the Provence region in France, but obviously Covid put a halt to that. So instead of traveling to France we’ll have to do with photos and in my case that also means looking for beautiful homes.
This isn’t your typical French home though, it’s a Japanese inspired new built with Shou Sugi Ban cladding which means that the wood has been torched to make it more durable and it gives the home a nice look. Inside wood the home is also completely in wood with here and there a color touch like a pink accent wall and a light blue sofa.
It’s very minimalistic but I think it works, especially when you look at the surrounding of the home. It lies of the top of a hill surrounded by nature and with spectacular views over the Provence countryside. Can you see yourself in that infinity pool overlooking the Provence? What a dream! And it could be yours because the home if for sale at Espaces Atypiques.
