A Pink Houseboat in Amsterdam

With so many canals in Dutch cities it is not surprising that you also see a lot of houseboats. I’ve always liked the idea of living on the water. To step outside your house and put your feet in the water on warm summer days. Or in the winter putting on your skates and skate out of the front door and on the canals (yes that really happens!).

This houseboat in Amsterdam is certainly very pretty. The home is entirely decorated in pink tones, from the living room to the bathroom, it’s a pink haven. Despite the home only being 62sq. meter they managed to fit in 2 bedrooms ánd a workspace.

The use of the industrial glass wall in the bedrooms is a great way of making the small rooms feel more spacious. I could see myself living here, what about you?
