A Scandinavian Maisonette With A Bright Attic Bedroom

A day with some lovely Scandinavian interior inspiration is always a good day. And today I have a lovely maisonette for you that’s been put up for sale in Gothenburg. A maisonette is a home in a larger property (f.e. an apartment compex) divided over multiple floors (unlike an apartment which is situated on 1 floor). I always like the idea of a maisonette, you live in an apartment block but inside it must feel like a little house because the sleeping area is often on a different floor.

In this case you have a kitchen and living room on one foor and above it lies a bright bedroom with slanted ceilings, exposed beams and skywindows. A half wall seperated the space to add a little walk-in-closet. Attic bedrooms are always so charming in my opinion and I love the wooden beams that add extra character.
