One of my favourite Dutch interior designers Holly Marder has finished a new project with her company Avenue Design Studio. You might remember Holly from when I posted her own renovated home which is a absolute beauty (click here). And this project in The Hague that Holly designed with Hedda Pier (who also project managed) has that typical elegant, high quality look I expect from Avenue Design Studio.
The former rental property was worn out and the Australian expat clients wanted to reinstate the architectural beautiy of the home. Almost all large furniture pieces are custom made, from the kitchen to the bedroom headboard. The goal was to create a calm family home free from ‘visual stress’ and they certainly achieved that. It’s elegant and the attention to (architectural) details is absolutely stunning.
