A couple of weeks ago we posted the beautiful Brooklyn townhouse of Athena Calderone (see here) and now she has completed another design project: a beach home in The Hamptons.
Athena got inspired after she worked on her new book Live Beautiful (out on march 3rd) in which interior decorators, fashion designers, and tastemakers (like Jenna Lyons and Nate Berkus) reveal how carefully crafted interiors come together.
Athena decided to revamp her kitchen, living & family room in her midcentury beach home in Amagansett, New York. The architecture is the focal point in her beach home and from there out she carefully selected design pieces that would create a stylish home with a definite beach home vibe. So you see lots of white tones combined with natural materials which creates a calm and soft aesthetic.
