A Beautifully Renovated Farmhouse in The Netherlands
This farmhouse in a small village in The Netherlands is officially a monument that dates back to 1650 but in 2012 it was completely dilapidated. Luckily some people saw the potential of this home and decided to buy and renovate it and thank god that they did.
A farmhouse is obviously a perfect property if you love loft-like spaces and that’s exactly what happened here. The entire living quarters in one big open plan space with concrete floors, modern design and vintage rustic decor.
The wooden beams were bought in France to bring back that barn-style from the orginal home which immediately gives the home so much character. It’s so wonderful to see that this old building has been restored so beautifully and now it’s a super stylish family home.
