An Attic Studio Apartment with a Glass Room Divider
The top floor of a 1920s building in Sweden has been converted into a beautiful studio apartment with a unique glass room divider, a sleeping loft, and luxurious materials. The design of the 34 square meter attic apartment is considered and high class with Italian kitchen and bathroom furniture, a light oak floor, and a brick wall that shows the history of the building.
There are several ways to divide a studio apartment into several areas and one of these design solutions is by using a glass partition wall. In this studio apartment, they have added a custom-made tinted glass divider where the bedroom area is blocked from view but you can look into the living space from the bedroom.
The exclusive material choices are combined with characterful building details such as brickwork and dormer windows.
Despite the modest size of the apartment, there is plenty of space for a sitting area, a dining table, and a good-sized kitchen. The sitting area is defined by a white tufted rug. From the dormer window you have a lovely high view of the city.
Behind the glass partition is a generous sleeping nook with enough room for a double bed and built-in wardrobes that offer plenty of storage space.
The bed is hidden from view from the sitting room, but you can look into the apartment from your bed which creates a more spacious feeling.
Thanks to the south facing position of the apartment, the window flood the apartment with light.
The kitchen is designed by the Italian manufacturer Cesar. The kitchen has a timeless and minimalistic look with gray cabinets, a composite stone worktop, and shelves under the slanted ceiling.
They made the most of all the available space during the design process of the apartment. The area above the bathroom is turned into a sleeping loft.
The minimalistic bathroom features Italian granite ceramic tiles.
The attic studio apartment is for sale at Alvhem.
