Primary Color Accents in a Light Swedish Apartment
In the Swedish city Gothenburg, you can find this beautiful light one-bedroom apartment where the calm interior base has been spruced up with bold primary color accents.
The one-bedroom, 61-square-meter apartment was built around the turn of the century and features original elements such as two historic fireplaces and stucco. The apartment is styled for sale by the interior styling trio of JosefssonLjung, who often style Swedish apartments, and you can see more of their work on The Nordroom.
The apartment shows how you can decorate with color even though the base of the home is neutral. In this apartment, the wooden floors and light gray walls form a classic base interior, which is spruced up with the occasional pop of color in the furniture.
The rooms in this apartment are very bright, thanks to the large windows. Light gray walls, a wooden floor with a large cream-colored rug, and a light gray sofa form a solid base. The yellow bookcase, red coffee tables, and a pastel blue desk chair add cheerful color touches.
When you look up close, you can see that the walls are decorated with wallpaper which makes it just a little more special.
Next to the living room you will find the bright bedroom which also has bold color accent in the fabrics and one of the wardrobes.
Besides the vibrant blue wardrobe, this bedroom also has a working fireplace so you can create a cozy room.
More storage is added with wardrobes on either side of the double sliding doors.
The kitchen has a hint of country style with the wooden feature wall that has been painted in a light sage green shade.
No room in this apartment in complete without a bold color accent. In the kitchen they opted for a bright blue bench.
