An Art Nouveau Villa in France Decorated in Pastel Colors

In the South of France, in the city of Pau, stands Villa Atlantida, a beautiful French home that is now the family home of Lisa, Julien and their 5 children. The villa had been lived in by the same family since it was built in 1902 when Lisa & Julien bought it a couple of years ago.

The Art Nouveau-style of the house was still completely intact because the home hadn’t been sold in more than 100 years. The only thing Julien and Lisa did was to remove the old wallpaper and carpet. By doing so the original wooden floor was revealed and the walls were painted in pastel color tones and new wallpaper was added in the bedrooms.

Lisa & Julien never buy anything new so their home is filled with antique finds which enhances that historic athmosphere of the home. Can you imagine living is such a beautiful home? I’m truly jealous!
