A Classic Swedish Apartment Decorated in Green and Pink Tones

On the top floor of a beautiful turn-of-the-century building in Stockholm lies a wonderful apartment with spacious rooms and original details. The solid wood floors and original features, such as mirrored doors and mirrored panels in deep window niches, showcase the history of the building, which are paired wonderfully with the green and pink tones of the paint, furniture, wallpaper, and home accessories.

The apartment has an exciting shape with charming angles. With a floor plan of 95 square meters, there is plenty of room. The fine, original joinery is combined with contemporary wallpaper and material choices in a style that feels as old-fashioned as fresh. This classic style is especially visible in the kitchen and bathroom, which have recently been renovated in a style that fits the architecture of the building.

The living room has a lovely amount of light, and fully glazed double doors lead out to a balcony with morning and afternoon sun. 

The corner room in the apartment has been turned into a home library with the classic green ‘Pimpernell’ wallpaper by William Morris.

The room is fitted with custom wardrobes and bookcases that are painted in a deep green shade that compliment the wallpaper.

The new kitchen is a design by Tibrokök, the cabinets have white interior mirrored doors and drawers paired with a black stone worktop.

The kitchen walls are decorated with a light wallpaper with a green leaf pattern.

The bedroom is located next to the living room, the room is decorated with antique furniture and a soft rose patterned wallpaper.

Great effort has been put into creating a bathroom with a turn-of-the-century feel. There is a stylish clawfoot tub and the porcelain is in a classic English design. The walls are covered with white half-jointed tiles and the floor is covered with white Victorian tiles.
