For today’s house tour we’re off to Amsterdam for a wonderul home filled with color and texture. This villa is located next to the Vondelpark (the most popular park in central Amsterdam), which is also a very popular area of the city.
The villa is recently designed by Atelier ND Interior, who turned this grand house into a fun and unique family home. The house is divided over 5 floors, with several sitting rooms, a spacious kitchen, and even a yoga studio.
Designer Nicole Dohmen of Atelier ND Studio mixed and matched colors, textures, and styles. Turning this family residence in a mix of classic grandeur and ethnic playfulness.
The kitchen is the heart of the home, so it’s right to start the home tour here. The marble kitchen island is the centerpiece of this spacious kitchen.
The kitchen is not just for cooking, it’s a true living space. The blue colors and artwork make it a cheerful room. The bar stools are by Tine K, and the sofa is by B&B Italia.
There is plenty of wallpaper in this home. Including in the main sitting room. The wallpaper is by Pierre Frey.
Arched windows divide the sitting room with the kitchen. It creates two cozy room, but still lets through the natural light that floods though the home.
