A Georgian Home with Floral Vintage-Style Bathroom
London is packed with beautiful historic homes and many find their way on The Nordroom. Today, I will share another beautiful London townhouse that has a bathroom with bold floral wallpaper.
The townhouse dates back to Georgian time and it’s now a beautiful blend of historic features and modern features.
Spectacular is the open plan kitchen and living space. The kitchen has a double-height ceiling, Crittall windows overlooking the garden, and a skylight to make the space very bright.
The entire length of the kitchen have skylights adding so much natural light to this room. The Crittall windows open up so in summertime you can extend the kitchen with the outdoor terrace.
The kitchen is a stylish blend of black cabinets, marble worktops, and brass details.
The sitting room has a more historic feel with the wall panels and bay window.
The townhouse has four bedrooms, and the master bedroom – pictured here – has an ensuite bathroom. The room is decorated with pink and gray tones in combination with antique furnishings.
How great is this bathroom? The freestanding bath is placed in the center of the room to have a view outdoors from the bath. The bathroom is again a blend of modern and vintage which compliments the historic architecture of the house.
The marble and brass combination is the same as in the kitchen.
The wallpaper is “Midnight Garden” by House of Hackney.
